The Holistic Progress Card (HPC), envisioned under NEP 2020, represents a transformative shift from marks-based evaluation to learner-centric, competency-based assessment. It provides schools with a structured framework to document students’ academic progress alongside their social, emotional, ethical, and experiential development. This webinar is designed to help educators and school leaders clearly understand the purpose, structure, and implementation of the Holistic Progress Card in day-to-day school practices.
Led by Ms. Archana Awade, General Manager at Aditya Birla Education Academy, Mumbai, a seasoned education leader, Lead Auditor, and IGCSE Mathematics Specialist. With extensive experience in curriculum design, assessment reforms, and quality assurance processes, she has worked closely with schools to implement progressive assessment practices aligned with national and international standards. Her expertise lies in translating policy frameworks into practical, classroom-ready systems that support holistic learner development.
The webinar will offer a comprehensive understanding of the HPC framework, including its vision, key domains, and indicators used to capture students’ overall growth. Participants will gain clarity on shifting from traditional marks to competency-based assessment, the role of teachers in observation and constructive feedback, and the importance of student reflection and self-assessment. The session will also explore strategies for engaging parents meaningfully and addressing common implementation challenges faced by schools, supported by real-world practices and examples.
Through structured insights and practical guidance, participants will learn how to design, implement, and sustain an effective Holistic Progress Card system that enhances assessment quality, supports individualized learning pathways, and builds a culture of continuous improvement within schools. The webinar will conclude with an interactive Q&A session to address participant queries and contextual challenges.
All attendees will receive a 2+ hour FDP / Capacity Building Programme (CBP) Participation Certificate, contributing to their professional development and supporting institutional compliance requirements.
