The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has notified all affiliated schools to complete their self-assessment for the year 2025 on the SQAAF (School Quality Assessment and Assurance Framework) portal by December 31, 2025. This directive is in accordance with Circular No. 14/2023, dated March 24, 2023, available on the CBSE SARAS portal, and a notification issued on December 30, 2024, accessible on the CBSE Academic website.
Schools undertaking the self-assessment process must note the following guidelines:
The Self-Improvement Plan must be filled only after the submission of the self-assessment covering all domains.
The Self-Improvement Plan is to be submitted domain-wise.
No changes or edits will be allowed after the final submission.
Schools may download their report upon final submission.
The portal will provide only the overall scorecard for the year 2024.
As per Circular No. 14/2023, self-assessment under SQAAF has been made mandatory for the acceptance of applications related to fresh affiliation, switch-over, upgradation, and extension on the SARAS portal for the academic session 2024-25 and beyond.
